On becoming
I no longer want to simply be a developer, an artist, or a sporty person. I’ve changed my mindset:
- from "I want to be a developer" to "I want to become someone who enjoys tinkering with coding and tech every day,"
- from "I want to be an artist" to "I want to become someone who appreciates and creates art,"
- from "I want to be a runner" to "I want to become someone who loves running and taking walks."
This shift in mindset helps me focus more on the process and the enjoyment of what I do, rather than being fixated on the end result. I’ve realized that I was too focused on the final outcome, neglecting more important things like the process, the joy in what I do, and being present in the moment.
I remind myself that becoming is a lifelong journey that never truly ends. We never completely become anything; we are always in the process of becoming. So, there’s no point in fixating on final results.
Just enjoy the path, stay on the path, and keep becoming.
